Thurs 29th -Conservation for Change: Sustainability Ed. and raising awareness in Bgo, 7.00 - 9.00pm.

Hear from Dean Bridgefoot from Mount Alexander Sustainability Group on the latest from the National 100% Renewable Energy Campaign. Get an update from Karen Corr of BSG on recent awareness raising activities and meetings with politicians including a round table discussion with John Brumby on the Climate Change White Paper. Have an informal chat about what's next for Bendigo in terms of Sustainability Education and Awareness Raising activities. At RMCG, 135 Mollison St, Bendigo. AUGUST 2010 

Sun 1st - National Tree Day, 10.00am-1.00pm  at Crusoe Res

The City of Greater Bendigo and Friends of Crusoe Reservoir and Number 7 Park invite all interested residents to join in this year's National Tree Day planting activities at Crusoe Reservoir, Crusoe Road, Kangaroo Flat. Will also include nature walks, musical entertainment and arts activities for the whole family. A free barbecue will also be provided.Click for flyer
