The Bendigo Sustainability Group (BSG) are local people interested in sustainable living, be it bulk buying solar power, sustainable gardening, using less energy/water around the home or office, sustainable transport, community education or even policy development. Our goal is to create a supportive culture for understanding, inspiration, action and hope from which the wider Bendigo community can grow a sustainable future together. The formation of the group was initially inspired by the Fairwater CV Group, who have been active in the area of sustainable water management in the Campaspe catchment. They set up the Climate Wise Club, from which ensued a climate action seminar in October 2007 that attracted more than 60 participants.
