BSG AGM and Celebration event

A day of food, gardening and music! This free community celebration will include live entertainment, gardening workshops, and cooking demonstrations. There will also a Sustainable Living stalls where you can talk to the stall holders and learn of all the fantastic things happening right here in Bendigo.

 

Highlights of the day will include the pedal powered juice makers, Costa from SBS’s Costa’s Garden Odyssey and local band "McAlpines Fusiliers"There will be free kids activities including a juggling workshop. Or if fashion’s your thing why not enter the Sustainable Fashion on the Fields; there will be prizes for the best op shop outfit worn on the day!

 

Ride your bike to the event to have your bike serviced for free at the bike service station where you can have your chains greased and tyres pumped. Or if you’re travelling by car,be sure to pack it full of friends. Just don’t forget to bring your picnic blanket!

 

The Annual General Meeting of the Bendigo Sustainability Group will also be held at 11am on the main stage.

 

Bendigo Celebrates Sustainable Living – Community Celebration Day

When: Sunday 20 November, 10am–3pm

Where: Crook Street Park, Strathdale (Cnr McIvor Road)

What to bring: Your family and friends, your bikes and a picnic blanket

Cost: Nothing, it’s free
